The Name
The Sango 878
Named for Sango · Yoruba Deity · Oyo Empire
Sango was the fourth king of the Oyo Empire. A ruler of thunder, lightning, fire, and justice. A man so feared and so revered that when he died, they did not mourn him. They worshipped him. He became one of the most powerful deities in the Yoruba faith, carried across Nigeria, Benin, and through the African diaspora into the Americas and the Caribbean.
He did not ask for reverence. He earned it. The Sango 878 carries that name intentionally. Not as decoration. As a standard. Wear it like you understand that.
