How to Choose the Right Watch Size
How to Choose the Right Watch Size
Choosing the right watch size helps your timepiece feel comfortable, balanced, and stylish on your wrist. A great watch should look like it belongs on you, not like it was borrowed or oversized. This guide will help you understand the key measurements so you can choose the perfect fit.
Case Diameter
The case diameter is the most common measurement people look at. Most men’s watches fall between 40mm and 44mm while most women’s watches range from 28mm to 36mm.
All of our men’s designs feature a 42mm case, including the Pharaoh Collection and the Sango 878. Our women’s designs use a refined 34mm case inside the Queen Pharaoh Collection.
Lug to Lug Fit
Lug to lug measures the height of the watch from the top lug to the bottom lug. This affects how the watch sits on your wrist. A shorter lug to lug will hug the wrist while a longer one stretches across more space.
Our men’s models use a 49mm lug to lug which fits most wrist shapes without overextending.
Bracelet vs Strap Fit
Stainless steel bracelets can be sized at any jeweler by adding or removing links. Leather straps naturally adjust to your wrist over time. The Sango 878 offers both bracelet and leather options so you can change your fit and style easily.
How a Watch Should Fit
A watch should not slide around or dig into your skin. It should sit comfortably with enough room to move naturally. If you have a medium or large wrist the 42mm case size will feel balanced. For a lighter and more elegant look the 34mm Queen Pharaoh Collection is ideal.
